Storm-Damaged Fence? Here's What To Do

The morning after a storm, a leaning or blown-down fence is one of the first things people notice — and one of the jobs we're called out to most across Swansea and Gower. Here's how to handle it.

Make it safe first

Keep children and pets away from any loose or leaning panels and posts, and move broken pieces with nails or splinters out of the way. Don't attempt anything that involves working at height or heavy lifting on your own.

Take photos for insurance

Before anything is moved or repaired, photograph the damage. If you're claiming on home insurance, they'll usually want evidence.

Temporary vs permanent fix

A single blown panel can often be re-fixed quickly, while a snapped post needs proper repair. We'll assess whether a panel replacement or post repair is needed and get it solid again.

Get it fixed fast

A gap in your fence means security and privacy problems until it's sorted. Send us a photo and your address and we'll get your fence back to rights quickly.
